Our Mission

Our mission is to serve, disciple, and teach youth in Lyons and the surrounding areas by engaging them, helping them grow in Jesus Christ, and equipping them to serve their church and community through the Holy Spirit. Youth lead in Sunday worship services, VBS, community outreach programs, mission trips and more. The youth program is for grades 6 through 12 and everyone is welcome! The Edge

On Wednesday nights, youth meet from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. We meet to fellowship, do homework, group games and activities and have devotional and sharing time. Come at 5:30 and enjoy a delicious supper If you're looking for something to do on Wednesday nights, The Edge is a great place to be!

The Gathering

The Gathering is a time for youth to worship on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. This is an informal worship service where we sing praise and worship songs led by youth, have a Bible study, occasional guest speakers and spend time together. Come join us as we dig in to God's word and encourage each other to grow in the Christian walk.

Youth Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45  a.m. This is a more formal Bible study time. We discuss scripture and how it relates to our lives. Here are The Oaks, we believe that Christian fellowship is a key factor in one's relationship with Christ. Come join us at The Edge, The Gathering or in Sunday School. We would love to have you!
